Come to celebrate with us the big Zorba celebration, come to dive with us into the deepness of the Buddha. This is the place to breath, open, hug, dance, and fill-in the energy of the desert, to fall in love with life. Osho talks about the man that lives at the illusion that the materialism stands opposed to the spiritual, that the Zorba contradict the Buddha. We are at the festival prove that wrong, we prove that the one is strengthening the other, that the combination between the two makes the whole person – The Zorba the Buddha. There is no such festival in Israel, period.
The idea of the festival is based on the gist of Osho (Puna, India) teaching that the whole person is the one that knows how to celebrate life to the fullest, knows how to enjoy life (the Zorba) and equally investigate the meaning of life, aware to himself and meditate as integral part of his life (the Buddha). The Zorba the Buddha Festival is the full name. We at Desert Ashram created a festival from this philosophy. 5 days of music, love and meditation. The Zorba festival is unique in Israel for being held at the desert where the desert meets the oasis of the ashram. Unique for the quality of the workshop and activities that is distributed at 15 different areas (worlds) and let you the participants meet the leading teachers and leaders of spirituality from Israel and abroad. Starting at Osho meditation world, through Yoga and therapy world also movement and theater world and more, you will meet deepness and happiness with opening the heart and hugs.

15 different areas (worlds) of workshops will wait for you in the festival, that will deal and teach meditation, yoga, movement and dance, theater, lectures on health and more. And of course our rich kids world that will give you, the parents, some quite and for them many interesting activities.
